Family Day at the Causeway

Today was soooo much fun. We had our family and friends and the weather couldn't have been nicer! The food was excellent we had hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, macaroni crab salad (which was superb), potato salad, chips, watermelon and excellent cookies! Can you tell food is very important to me. Oh yeah we did some fishing too. The big fish of the day was caught by TJ, it was a jack (TJ is 5). We had a few tangles but what is fishing without a few tangled lines. The kids had an excellent day as did the adults. September 4th is our next meeting and then Beach Fishing. I can hardly wait!!!

August Monthly Meeting

The Reel Ladies August Meeting was awesome. Guest speaker Stacey Hampton did a superb job on teaching us rigging techniques. Stacey not only gave us great information but also taught us how to apply what we learned. There was an exam, which we all passed!! Go Girls!!!! All of us were able to make our own rigs by the end of the class. Refreshments were also great - Thank you to Zana and Pat for the great food.
